The HOTHOUSE project is a place for discovery and growth in the artistic fields of contemporary jewellery, object making, metalwork and related media. It is run by students and teachers from the Metal and Jewellery Department of the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and the aim of the project is to involve people outside the Academy in the activities of the department. For this purpose we have created this blog and opened the HOTHOUSE Gallery which exhibits work done by students, teachers and independent artists.

The gallery is created as a meeting ground for the exchange of information and experiences, as part of a discussion on subjects relevant to our field. It is situated on the ground floor of the 18th century building of the Academy in Ullevålsveien 5 in the centre of Oslo. You are all welcome to visit us and join the discussion!
